Well maybe I know somewhere deep in my soul that love never lasts
And we’ve got to find other ways to make it alone or keep a straight face
And I’ve always lived like this keeping a comfortable distance..
And up until now I had sworn to myself that I’m content with loneliness…Because non of it was ever worth the risk
Well you are the only exception..

And I’m on my way to believing
…”And before I realized it, this simple cup of espresso had become the means to a path into her soul.”
My christianity has become anorexic.
Denying myself and staying away from things that would hurt my heart; idols that I could worship.
But in return, I do not feed my soul what it needs. Like being on a diet where you deny yourself foods that would be bad for you, but you also don’t allow yourself to eat what is good for you. You starve yourself and then punish yourself for feeling hunger. And because you are hungry you are easily tempted into wanting to eat what is bad for you; but still you suffer all the more because you don’t give in.
I need to feed my soul what it needs: Jesus.
